I didn't get out much between the middle of June and the end of July. This is a mixed bag, then, of what went on around that time.
I managed to get a very good deal on some Kenko extension tubes ('good' since they're the sort that'll support autofocus if I need it and should usually set you back 3x what I paid). Overall, the quality was good but if I were to consider using them more I think I would need to invest in a flash kit of some sort; my mini LED panel doesn't cut it for the amount of light that'd be needed (though it is a great little panel overall).
I've been watching a few videos lately where the photographer's extolling the virtues of taking only one lens with you. While I didn't go that far (I took my usual 'modest' lens collection with me), I did try to limit myself to 50mm. Which I succeeded at, if you discount relying on the Raynox DCR-250 for macro-adjacent shots...
