2023 08 04 - ALL of the Ducks

Went to the local reservoir again. There were a whole host* of ducks this time, so... A lot of duck photos were taken. There were moorhens in a couple of different stages of growth which was really nice to see, and at some point a heron appeared.

As it turns out, photos of ducks comprise a lot of different colours and are therefore comparatively huge in size! Apologies, then, if this page takes a while to load in everything. There are... a few photos.

Grouping noun for a bunch of ducks on water: a raft / paddle. Grouping noun for them on land: a waddling / badelyng / badling. These ducks started on land but took to the water after it became apparent we weren't no food-carriers. Does that mean at one point they would have been a waddling raft?

With repeated visits to this reservoir, and many more photos taken of ducks while there, it seems prudent to group all my photos of Reservoir Ducks* in the same place. Pictures below this point will then be from the same location... But taken on different days.

Directed by Quacktin Tarantino, naturally.
