There was a nice amount of natural light today, but without the high temperatures that normally go with such things. I decided to try getting more used to my Tamron 90mm macro lens with a 20mm extension tube, with no more to light things than the sun.
I ended up with far too many pictures of insects (mostly failed attempts and therefore not included here) and leaves, but I enjoyed the time I spent taking them. Not included here (because I failed to get anything in good enough focus) was a female red pine longhorn beetle that was - at the time - going around laying eggs in the wood of the raised bed supports. It's possible she and the male in the second and third photos know each other...
