2024 04 01 - GardenBirds

An Easter trip to my grandparents' is always fun. On the way out of the door this year I felt something saying to me "you should take your camera". I don't usually take it along to family gatherings but I'm glad I did this time; their garden is an absolute treasure in and of itself, even without the delightful visitors it brings.

I haven't been practicing properly, so a lot of what I took today was wildly under or over-exposed. I am, however, surprised at how clear I managed to get one of the Woodpecker images to look considering I took each of them through a sun-glare-reflecting window.

I've also noticed the page load speed of the 2024 03 gallery is quite slow, even with images loaded lazily. I think I might split that one up, and do a maximum of only a couple of galleries per page from now on.
